Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor to join our team at Shape Solutions Private Limited on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their editing career who is eager to learn develop their skills and gain hands-on experience working on a variety of digital content projects.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of video editing a good eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
You will work closely with senior team members and content creators to assist in producing high-quality video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media websites and marketing campaigns
- Trim and arrange video clips according to provided briefs and guidelines.
- Add basic text transitions music sound effects and graphics to videos.
- Create simple motion graphics and animated text elements using Adobe After Effects.
- Assist in preparing video content for different platforms formats and aspect ratios.
- Organize and manage video files assets and project folders.
- Make revisions and updates based on feedback from the team.
- Ensure completed videos meet quality and brand standards.
- Stay updated with current social media video editing and content creation trends.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro CapCut DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects for simple animations motion graphics and text effects.
- A portfolio showreel academic projects or personal work demonstrating editing skills.
- Understanding of basic video editing principles pacing and storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with internship or freelance experience are encouraged to apply
