Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to design develop and deliver highly scalable secure and cloud-native backend applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices distributed systems event-driven architecture and modern DevOps practices. This role requires strong technical expertise problem-solving abilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain enterprise-scale backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop robust RESTful APIs and Microservices following industry best practices.
Design scalable secure and high-performance backend architectures.
Build event-driven applications using messaging platforms such as Kafka and JMS.
Develop and optimize database schemas queries and transactions using PostgreSQL SQL and PL/SQL.
Collaborate with Business Analysts Product Owners and stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
Participate in architecture discussions technical design reviews and code reviews.
Implement automated unit testing integration testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Optimize application performance scalability reliability and security.
Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity and code quality.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Helm) is an added advantage.
