INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting E-House Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas (Upstream Midstream Downstream) Petrochemicals and Utilities. What Youll Lead and Deliver :
- Support and execute electrical engineering and project execution activities for industrial projects involving LV/MV switchgear MCCs UPS systems transformers PMS VFDs and soft starters.
- Review project RFQs specifications drawings and scope of work to understand customer requirements and ensure execution in accordance with project commitments.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers for project design engineering installation testing and commissioning activities.
- Assist in preparing engineering effort estimates resource requirements and project budgets.
- Review engineering drawings calculations technical documents and other project deliverables for compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Review technical offers from suppliers/vendors and assist in evaluating their compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the project planning team for preparation and monitoring of project schedules milestones progress trackers and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely submission of engineering documents equipment data drawings and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with site teams during installation testing commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
- Support safe and timely execution of site activities in accordance with approved drawings project specifications quality requirements and HSE procedures.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering procurement suppliers construction commissioning and project management teams.
- Support the preparation and review of FAT SAT testing commissioning and project handover documentation.
- Assist in identifying technical issues project risks and delays and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Develop working knowledge of containerized substations and E-Houses with practical exposure considered an advantage.
- Apply basic understanding of HVAC requirements and design considerations for electrical rooms E-Houses and containerized substations.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 4 6 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering project engineering or project execution preferably within industrial Oil & Gas EPC or system integration projects.
- Hands-on or project experience with: Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear & MCCsMedium Voltage (MV) Switchgear & MCCsTransformer SystemsPower Management Systems (PMS)Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Strong knowledge of international standards (IEC ATEX NEC etc) related to Electrical systems.
- Experience of working with Electrical design / analysis software like ETAP Dialux etc
- Good understanding of electrical installation testing commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering drawings single-line diagrams specifications calculations and technical documentation.
- Basic understanding of project scheduling progress tracking resource planning and engineering effort estimation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers vendors site teams project planners and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems associated with electrical rooms E-Houses and containerized substations will be an advantage.
