Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to develop and test software modules based on client requirements and prepare project documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
AS/400 Senior Developer and Technical Lead
Location -Hyderabad
- Over 5 to 12 years of experience in development and support with core AS/400 technologies including DB2/400 CL RPG III/RPG IV/Free Form.
- Extensive expertise in SQL/400 QUERY/400 and other AS/400 utilities.
- Knowledge of data extraction based on defined specifications along with experience in EDI tools and processes
- Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as DDS physical and logical files SQL files stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
- Proficient in advanced ILE concepts including procedures service programs and functions.
- Exposure to AS/400 modernization engagements
- Thorough understanding of application and database performance best practices and tuning techniques.
- Extensive experience in preparing design and estimation documents required for development changes proposed by business users.
