Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer
Job Summary
Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to lead and grow our pre-sales operations focused on the full suite of ManageEngine solutions. This role requires an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between customer requirements and our technical offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team project delivery and leadership to drive solution development client engagement and successful deal closure.
Key responsibilities include:
Solution Design & Demonstrations:
Lead and manage technical pre-sales activities across all ManageEngine product lines (ServiceDesk Plus OpManager PAM360 ADManager Endpoint Central etc.).
Conduct in-depth customer requirement analysis and present tailored solution demos.
Develop proof of concepts (POCs) and technical presentations.
Proposal & Tender Management:
Prepare and respond to RFPs RFIs and RFQs with high-quality documentation and technical compliance.
Collaborate with the proposal and sales team to create winning bids and tenders.
Review and ensure technical accuracy of all submission documents.
Implementation Oversight & Documentation:
Oversee solution architecture and implementation plans.
Draft technical documentation architecture designs and solution implementation guides.
Support handover to post-sales delivery teams.
Strategic Pre-Sales Leadership:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide technical training to internal staff.
Build and manage a high-performing pre-sales engineering team.
Stay updated on ManageEngines evolving product suite roadmap and best practices.
Client Engagement & Sales Enablement:
Engage with C-level stakeholders to understand strategic goals and IT infrastructure.
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing clients.
Assist in pricing strategies and licensing guidance.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT solutions pre-sales with 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in ManageEngine products and ecosystem.
Technical Skills:
Deep hands-on experience with ITSM ITOM IAM UEM SIEM and IT analytics tools.
Strong understanding of infrastructure networking Active Directory security and cloud technologies.
Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals RFPs and RFIs.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Certifications (preferred):
ManageEngine Certified Professional
ITIL Foundation
PMP CISSP or similar relevant certifications
