Summer Internship 2027 Communication, Public Affairs & AI, Oslo

The Communication & Public Affairs function helps strengthen Hydros reputation stakeholder engagement and strategic positioning. As digital technologies and artificial intelligence change how organizations work with information communication and insight we are developing new capabilities to make better use of data improve workflows and support more informed decisions.

As a summer intern you will contribute to projects at the intersection of communication public affairs data and AI. The exact scope will be adapted to your background interests and the priorities of the team. You may work with information management and AI enablement help develop and test new agents or other digital solutions or support positioning research or insight projects.

What you will be doing

Contribute to the development testing and evaluation of AI tools copilots or agent-based solutions that support communication and public affairs workflows.

Conduct research and insight studies which may include stakeholder analysis media and reputation analysis trend monitoring benchmarking interviews surveys or desk research.

Analyze information and data to identify patterns themes and opportunities and translate findings into clear recommendations.

Prepare concise presentations text or visual content for communication or other communication material

What will make you successful

You are currently pursuing a masters degree in communication public affairs political science media studies marketing or another relevant field.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are curious about how data digital tools and AI can improve communication and decision-making.

You can work systematically with large amounts of information and communicate complex findings clearly and concisely.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage.

You are collaborative proactive and comfortable learning new topics and tools. Extracurricular activities and volunteer work will be considered advantageous.
