We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for bilingual Norwegian and English professionals to evaluate sensitive written content and apply structured trust and safety guidelines across advanced AI projects.

This role combines Norwegian-language fluency cultural judgement analytical reasoning and content evaluation. Selected professionals will develop Norwegian-language prompts classify conversations identify adversarial or escalating patterns and document clear rationales for their decisions. Prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Norwegian Content Development

• Write high-quality prompts in Norwegian across a range of sensitive subject areas
• Produce natural culturally appropriate language reflecting native or near-native usage
• Develop realistic scenarios with varied wording tone and complexity
• Maintain linguistic accuracy and contextual relevance
• Apply strong written judgement across diverse content types

Trust & Safety Review

• Evaluate prompts and conversations against structured safety guidelines
• Classify content consistently according to defined criteria
• Assess sensitive and potentially dual-use information
• Identify cases requiring nuanced judgement
• Apply policy guidance carefully across ambiguous scenarios

Adversarial Content Evaluation

• Identify adversarial phrasing and attempts to circumvent established safeguards
• Recognise escalation patterns across multi-turn conversations
• Assess how wording or context changes the meaning of a request
• Flag relevant safety concerns clearly
• Distinguish benign borderline and problematic content using structured criteria

Language & Cultural Judgement

• Evaluate whether Norwegian-language content is natural and contextually appropriate
• Apply cultural knowledge when interpreting wording tone and implied meaning
• Identify linguistic ambiguity that could affect classification
• Recognise differences between literal wording and practical intent
• Maintain consistent standards across varied Norwegian-language content

Structured Written Reasoning

• Provide concise explanations supporting evaluation decisions
• Document why specific prompts or conversations meet particular criteria
• Apply guidelines consistently while exercising professional judgement
• Communicate nuanced decisions clearly in written English where required
• Maintain strong attention to detail across repeated review tasks

Ideal Profile

• Native or near-native fluency in Norwegian
• Business-level written English
• Bachelors degree completed or currently in progress
• Strong written reasoning and analytical judgement
• High attention to detail
• Sound judgement when handling sensitive or dual-use information
• Comfortable applying structured guidelines to ambiguous content
• Prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required
• Experience reviewing grading or evaluating written or technical content is advantageous
• Background in trust and safety content moderation policy evaluation red teaming or adversarial testing is advantageous
• Candidates based in Norway are particularly encouraged to apply although applicants based elsewhere are also welcome

Engagement Details

• Part-time independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
• Compensation: $48$52/hour
• Immediate start
• Norway-based candidates are preferred but not required
• Training on the project workflow is provided
• Projects may be extended shortened or concluded based on project needs and performance
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer client institution or other third party
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
