Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Oslo Norway

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Oslo Norway. In this role you will be responsible for designing implementing maintaining and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability security and performance across multiple locations. You will work closely with infrastructure security cloud and application teams to support business-critical services while driving continuous improvements in network architecture and operations.

This position is ideal for a professional with strong experience in enterprise networking routing switching firewalls and cloud connectivity.

• Design deploy configure and maintain enterprise LAN WAN WLAN and SD-WAN environments.

• Install configure and troubleshoot routers switches firewalls VPNs and load balancers.

• Monitor network performance capacity and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.

• Investigate and resolve complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.

• Implement and maintain network security policies segmentation ACLs and secure remote access solutions.

• Support cloud networking across AWS Azure or Google Cloud environments.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

• Plan and execute network upgrades migrations and infrastructure refresh projects.

• Create and maintain technical documentation network diagrams and operational procedures.

• Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities when required.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Infrastructure Engineer.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP BGP OSPF VLANs STP NAT and QoS.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Juniper Aruba HPE or Fortinet networking equipment.

• Experience managing enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto Fortinet Cisco ASA or Check Point.

• Solid understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec SSL VPN).

• Experience with wireless networking technologies and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts in Azure AWS or Google Cloud.

• Experience using network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds PRTG Nagios or Zabbix.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Cisco CCNA CCNP or equivalent networking certification.

• Fortinet NSE Palo Alto PCNSE or Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS certifications.

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies.

• Knowledge of network automation using Python Ansible or Terraform.

• Experience with Zero Trust networking concepts.

• Familiarity with VMware NSX or software-defined networking technologies.

• Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
