TheTechnicalSupportEngineerensures Baker Hughes can deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning job execution andpost position deliversa technical job program that maximizes our opportunity to meet the jobobjectivesin line with the contract terms and position works seamlessly together with the Service Delivery Coordinators and other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the applicationisunderstood and has been considered.

As a Technical SupportEngineer you will be responsible for:

• Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesman to understand the clients well construction or productionobjectivesas well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes ( basedcontractline itemcontractetc)

• Performing offset well / similar job analysis to understand application hazards and incident potential

• Working together with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application and suggested products/serviceshasbeen considered

• Designing a job program including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans that can meet the clients objective and maximize revenue potential and future job assignments for Baker Hughes

• Working with the Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesman to ensure any risk of meeting theclientsobjective is communicated to the client using theappropriate channels/processesfor the respective client

• Accurately documenting any calculations/simulations/plan revision and/or changes during the project cycles for visibility to dependent teams and audit purposes.

• Providing on-demand supportin accordance withproduct portfolio or on-call schedule for job execution

• Comparing job as planned versus job as executed and document any lessons learned to ensure opportunity for continuous improvement. Case Worker for Field Incidents related to products / services

• Ensuring investigation is in line with the latest process for failure investigations and considers theend to endprocess from job planning preparation executionin order todeterminethe incident root cause and driveappropriate correctiveactions to enable flawless execution

• Ensuringtimelyincident management to enable fast customer issueresolution and cash collection

• Advise on product improvement opportunities for repetitive component / product failures

• Being responsible for providing sales support and product application recommendations

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a minimum of Bachelors degree in science technology engineering or mathematics

• Minimum3 years of relevant work experience

• Excellent leadership interpersonalinfluencingand planning skills.

• Ability to manage develop coach and mentor teams across organizational boundaries

• Ability to be on call outside of normal business hours

• Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization

• Thorough understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with excellent organizational analytical andproblem solvingskills

• Must have the ability to travel (typically travel to rig sites customer facilities meetings etc.)

• Significant operational experience

• Comfortable presenting in front of an audience of experienced peers

• Rig site drilling optimization experience is a definite plus

• Ability to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysis

• Ability to work independently
