Learning Support Teacher
Job Summary
- Assess students academic strengths learning needs and learning styles.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support academic success.
- Provide targeted support and interventions in core subjects and study skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust learning strategies where necessary.
- Collaborate with tutors teachers and parents to support student development and achievement.
- Foster a positive inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Mentor and guide students to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and provide updates on student progress.
- Prepare and submit student assessments progress reports and intervention records.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning support programs and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on best practices in learning support and student development.
- Participate in professional development activities and training programs.
- Bachelors degree in Education Psychology Counseling Special Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching learning support academic counseling or student development.
- Strong understanding of learning styles academic intervention strategies and student development principles.
- Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized learning plans.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Strong organizational problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong commitment to student success inclusion and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students parents teachers and other stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant personal assistant or similar role - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills - Proficient in multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively - Strong verbal and written communication abilities - Advanced proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Google Suite etc.) - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanour - Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment - Prior experience in a healthcare or related field is advantageous - . or Equivalent - 1-year experience
