The Role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Kuripuni Street is a service which provides support to tangata whai ora in the community setting. Tangata whai ora are supported to live independently to reach their goals and work towards living in the community without support.

This role will be suitable for someone who is driven supportive and works well in a fast paced team environment.

Some responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting with daily living skills such as cooking cleaning and gardening
  • Attendingappointments
  • Supporting tanagta whai ora with community activites
  • Updating and maintain the filing first aid kits emergency kits
  • These services operate as a 24-hour service.

We have two roles available please let us know your preference in your CV and/or cover letter:

Role 1: Sunday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm (40 hours per week).

Role 2: Friday to Saturday 7.00am to 3.30pm and Sunday to Monday 3.00pm to 11.30pm (32 hours per week).

You Mōu

  • You must hold a current full New Zealand drivers licence.
  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
