Role: Refrigeration Technician
Location: Tauranga Bay of Plenty New Zealand

Role overview
Our client is a well-established refrigeration and HVAC service provider in the horticulture and commercial sectors. They are urgently looking for an experienced technician due to strong business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Installation of commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Routine servicing preventative maintenance fault diagnosis and repairs
- Safe refrigerant handling in line with compliance standards
- Client communication and job documentation
- Participation in on-call breakdown roster
- Minimum 2 years of experience in refrigeration; industrial experience strongly preferred
- Kiwifruit packhouse or industrial cold storage background is a significant advantage
- Relevant trade qualification (Refrigeration Technician or Electrician)
- EST registration or willingness to obtain
- Refrigerant handling licence or willingness to gain
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Company vehicle and phone provided
- On-call allowance when rostered

Required Skills:
