Aboutthe Role As Payroll Manager you will lead the payroll function ensuringaccurate and timely payroll delivery while identifying opportunities to improveprocesses systems compliance and service levels.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys managing people driving continuousimprovement and leading projects that deliver meaningful operational andservice improvements across the organisation.
This is afull-time position Monday to Friday 40 hours per week based on yourpreference. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement combining time in theoffice and working from home.
About you Youare an experienced payroll leader with a passion for developing peopleimproving processes and delivering exceptional service.
Youll bring:
Significant payroll management experience in a complex environment.
Proven people leadership experience including coaching mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
A strong track record of driving continuous improvement and leading change initiatives.
Experience reviewing and enhancing payroll processes controls and systems.
Strong project management experience with the ability to lead and deliver payroll-related projects system upgrades and business improvement initiatives.
Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders while delivering successful outcomes.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation including Holidays Act requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive customer-focused approach.
Experience with Datapay payroll software would be highly advantageous.
