The Role Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Reporting to the Team Coach our casual roles provide cover for permanent Support Workers - the hours of work are not regular and are offered when they become available. Candidates available for awake night shifts are preferred. We operate 7 days a week.
If this sounds like you Here are some of the responsibilities required of you:
- Support people connect back with their community
- Support with cooking cleaning gardening and helping with everyday household tasks
- Assisting with budgeting and independent daily living
- Medication support where required
- Attending appointments and advocating for the people we support
You Mōu
- A current full New Zealand Driver Licence
- A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one
- Hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent)
- Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts including awake night shifts
- Knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
