Service Engineer

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical service repair maintenance and installations for compressed air equipment including compressors blowers dryers nitrogen generators air filtration and associated products at customer sites throughout the Netherlands. Full product training will be provided.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background within electrical or mechanical engineering working with equipment such as compressors filtration systems HVAC refrigeration pneumatics hydraulics vacuum systems pumps industrial motors medical gas or other electro-mechanical equipment.

• 5000 - 6500 gross per month depending on experience

• Service repair and maintain compressed air equipment including compressors dryers filtration and vacuum systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance fault finding diagnostics and breakdown repairs for the compressed air systems at customer sites across Netherlands.
• Install and commission compressed air and pneumatic equipment across industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical support on-site.
• Full remote covering Netherlands reporting to the site near Leiden weekly.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.

• Electrical and/or mechanical engineering background with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer Service Technician Maintenance Engineer Compressor Engineer or similar within electromechanical products.
• Background working with electromechanical products such as industrial equipment compressors HVAC refrigeration pneumatics hydraulics pumps medical gas vacuum systems or similar.
• Knowledge of three-phase electrics controls and electromechanical systems advantageous.
• Customer-focused able to work independently with a full driving licence and willingness to travel across Netherlands
• Commutable to the site near Leiden atleast once a week for training and team meetings.
