Job Summary

As a Senior Python Backend Developer you will:

Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python FastAPI and Microservices architecture.
Build deploy and support enterprise-grade APIs and distributed services.
Develop event-driven applications and integrations using Kafka.
Design technical solutions based on business requirements and prepare functional and technical specification documents.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle including requirement gathering solution design development testing deployment and production support.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy workloads on Kubernetes (AKS) using Helm.
Write execute and maintain automated and manual test cases to ensure application quality.
Prepare deployment cutover and rollback plans while supporting post-production hyper-care activities.
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming retrospectives and technical spike discussions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure scalable and high-performing enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements across applications and deployment processes.
Contribute to technical discussions architectural decisions and development best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

10 years of professional experience in Python application development and enterprise software engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python FastAPI and Microservices architecture.
Solid experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka.
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services with exposure to cloud-native application development.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with Docker Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments using Jira and Confluence.
Strong understanding of software design principles coding standards and application lifecycle management.
Experience preparing functional design documents and technical specifications.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to mentor team members and contribute to technical decision-making.
