Job Summary
Our hotel boasts 314 rooms a breakfast restaurant and a fantastic games room. Were centrally located between Amsterdam Buitenveldert and Amstelveen Stadshart making us the ideal base for exploring Amsterdam and the surrounding area.
Amsterdam South is just a 10-minute tram ride away (which stops right in front of the hotel!).
Our hotel is also easily accessible by bike and free parking is available.
What will you be doing as Operations Manager(m/f/d)
As Operations Manager no two days are the same!
- Youll lead the Front Office team and work closely with the support departments our external housekeeping team and colleagues in the regional office. Youll report to the General Manager.
- Safety is your middle name: you ensure that everything in the operation is carried out safely and in a safe environment!
- Very important: You love guests and are very service-oriented
- Youre a true team player and enjoy taking responsibility
- You can keep a cool head in a busy environment
- You have at least one year of experience in a similar role preferably within the Amsterdam region
- Youre fluent in Dutch and English and preferably another language
- You love working with your team and coaching them to become confident hospitality stars
- Experience with Opera Cloud is preferred. If not youre a quick learner and like to explore a new PMS
- You know how to prioritize and thus organize work effectively
- You have the BHV and Social Responsibility certificates
- Work in a growing and dynamic organization where you can develop your skills
