Do you excel in defining complex manufacturing processes and driving innovation in a high-tech environment We are looking for an experienced NPI Assembly Architect to lead the development of cutting-edge assembly architectures for our detector products.
Your Role
As NPI Assembly Architect you are responsible for defining and optimizing the overall assembly process architecture for new and existing products. You play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI) by translating product requirements into robust scalable and high-yield manufacturing solutions.
You act as a technical authority within the organization and contribute to innovation process improvements and future technology roadmaps.
What You Will Do:
Assembly Architecture & Development
Define assembly process architecture and specifications for new products
Specify materials equipment and production tools in collaboration with engineering teams
Contribute to project proposals and feasibility assessments
Lead risk assessments (e.g. FMEA) for processes and equipment
Drive improvements automation and scalability of production processes
Support supplier selection and lead technical discussions
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Research and implement innovative assembly technologies and processes
Benchmark industry developments and track emerging trends
Contribute to product and technology roadmaps
Identify bottlenecks and implement structural improvements
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a technical expert and knowledge source within NPI and Manufacturing
Collaborate with R&D Production Supply Chain Quality and external partners
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other Teledyne sites
Lead by example through ownership initiative and technical excellence
