About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Application Packaging Engineer to support a large Public Sector organization with multiple sites across the Netherlands. You will play a key role in ensuring stable secure and compliant application delivery across modern Microsoft environments. This is a senior technical role requiring deep expertise in packaging deployment troubleshooting and maintaining enterprisegrade application ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with customer policies security standards and deployment procedures across all managed environments.
• Analyze validate and document technical requirements for new and existing application software.
• Package update maintain and optimize application deployments to meet evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot installation issues on enduser systems ensuring successful deployment and functionality.
• Investigate and resolve cases where users cannot see applications in the Company Portal.
• Validate postinstallation behavior to ensure packaged applications match source functionality.
• Publish both available and required applications to targeted devices and user groups.
• Analyze cache logs and diagnose packaging or deployment failures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure security and endpoint teams to maintain a stable digital workplace.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 10 years of experience in Application Packaging within enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of Intune MSIX SCCM/MECM PowerShell and modern Windows deployment frameworks.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex packaging and installation issues.
• Experience working in structured policydriven environments (Public Sector preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical packaging specifications.
• Strong documentation communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with large multisite organizations.
• Familiarity with secure government or publicsector IT environments.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting for packaging workflows.
