You will be part of our product development teamProduct Line In-Vehicle Networking in Nijmegen Netherlands who is working rigorouslyto deliver the best products to market on time while ensuring our brands reputation for leadership in total quality at optimal cost.

As a Product Engineering intern you areina central position (a spiderinthe web) in theNew IC Product development.Youget towork with allthedisciplines needed to design an IC and several external teams to prepare it for mass production.Thereisa lot of room fornew ideasandinnovationsand you will be supported to have a continuous focus on development coaching and creating a supportive environmentfromyour team.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate an anomaly detection approach for machine learning models todeterminewhether incoming data and model predictions are reliable before further processing.

• Analyzelarge-scale datasets toidentifyout-of-distributionbehavior data shifts and inconsistencies between inputs and model outputs.

• Design and calibrate an anomaly scoring mechanism and decision thresholds balancing detection sensitivity with practical review capacity in a production environment.

• Validate the solution using historical data including simulation or injection of anomalous scenarios where.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering and data science) to define relevant anomaly types interpret modelbehavior and translate insights into practical decision-making workflows.

• Document themethodology validation results and recommended thresholds in a clear and structured way suitable for internship andthesisdeliverables.

YourProfile

• Masters studentwith major inComputer Science Machine Learning Data Science Statisticsor a closely related quantitative field.Minor oradditionalcourse work in Applied Mathematics is a plus.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience working with data analysis or machine learning workflows.

• Solid foundation in statistics anomaly detection out-of-distribution detection or distribution-shift analysis.

• Comfortable translating analytical results into practical engineering decisions and collaborating with cross-functional technical stakeholders.

• Interest in semiconductor test data production analytics and deploying trustworthy ML solutions in an industrial setting.

• Available for an internship that can be combined with a thesis project.

Duration

This is a full-time/part timeinternship (20/40 hoursper week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignmentmay besuitable as a thesis/graduation project.
