Job Summary
- Design build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data platforms with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop manage and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for production environments.
- Implement and maintain enterprise monitoring using Dynatrace to monitor data pipeline health data quality workload performance and infrastructure reliability.
- Create maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
- Manage and support JVM-based applications ideally Apache Spark ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and administer GCP services including BigQuery Google Cloud Storage (GCS) IAM Cloud Run and Networking.
- Automate deployment and operational tasks using Linux Docker and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable secure and reliable cloud solutions.
- 8 years of overall experience building scaling and maintaining complex systems.
- 4 years of experience building Data Platforms or complex Cloud Architectures preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 3 years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise monitoring using Dynatrace.
- 3 years of experience writing refactoring and managing stateful deployments using Terraform in production.
- Expertise in GitHub Actions GitHub Workflows and CI/CD automation.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services including BigQuery GCS IAM Cloud Run and Networking.
- Proficiency in Linux Docker and Bash scripting.
- Experience managing JVM applications ideally Apache Spark.
- Familiarity with fundamental data engineering and data science concepts.
- Google Cloud Platform certifications are an added advantage.
- Design automate and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain secure reliable and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
