Country Manager

As Country Manager at Apleona you will be responsible for managing the Site Managers Facility Managers and Project Manager operating across a dedicated client account in the Netherlands. You will have overall responsibility for the management service delivery financial performance and quality of the IFM contract.

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company with whom Apleona partners internationally to deliver integrated facility management services across multiple locations in the Netherlands.

In this position you will operate within a matrix organisation and report to both the international Key Account Management team and the Apleona Netherlands organisation.

As Country Manager Netherlands you will be the senior point of contact for one of our strategic clients in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for the overall performance and continuous improvement of the integrated facility management contract.

Working closely with the on-site management team you will ensure high-quality service delivery strong operational performance and sound financial results. You will provide leadership create alignment across stakeholders and build a long-term trusted relationship with the client.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for the quality scope timely delivery and cost control of all services in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Full financial responsibility for the contract results within the agreed commercial framework.
• Leading coaching and motivating Site Managers Facility Managers and the wider on-site team.
• Identifying client and end-user needs and translating these into concrete improvements and opportunities within the service delivery.
• Managing the contract and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the client suppliers and international account teams.
• Operating effectively at both a strategic and operational level connecting the needs of the client the on-site team and suppliers.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement innovation and further development of the client account.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs quality standards safety requirements and contractual obligations.

• A completed Bachelors degree (HBO) in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of demonstrable management and leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing integrated facility services within an IFM or FM environment preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in an international organisation and managing contractual relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate client needs into effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to identify risks and operational challenges at an early stage.
• VCA-VOL certification or willingness to obtain this certification.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English both written and spoken.
• A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to contribute to the continued growth and development of the account and Apleona Netherlands.
