Construction Development Internship (5 months)

400 per month (based on a 4 day work week)

How By working directly with farmer groups around the world. We set up transparent traceable export lines roast the beans ourselves and sell the coffee straight to customers. So no unnecessary middlemen or resellers. Those short supply chains make sure farmers always get a good price.

Youll find us in 23 (and counting) bars across the Netherlands and online through our own platform. For customers that means freshly roasted specialty coffee thats easy to access relatively affordable and just seriously delicious.

We are building the new coffee brand of the 21st century with a team of like-minded innovators from all over the world. And were looking for you.

Your Role

As an Construction Development Intern you work 4 days a week from our office in Amsterdam. You support the Construction Manager with the daily desk work and take part in a practical varied field of work. Now and then you join visits on location to get to know the stores from inside.

Maintenance & facilities

Coordinating and following up maintenance requests from all locations and head office

Maintaining contact with maintenance companies technicians and service partners

Keeping status updates per location: whats open whats resolved.

Communication & Coordination

Proactively keeping store managers informed of ongoing matters via Slack and Asana

Tracking and updating tasks and projects in Asana

Supporting the rollout of new locations

Ad hoc operational tasks that contribute to a smoothly running organization

Suppliers & procurement

Following up with suppliers: checking lead times tracking points of contact requesting quotes

Maintaining procurement overviews

Communicating with regular suppliers for materials hospitality fit-out and consumables

Inventory Management

Tracking stock of packaging

Maintaining overviews and aligning with Construction Manager and Store Managers

Professionalize our current processes for scalability (international)

Youre a hands-on go-getter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You like structure communicating clearly and dont lose sight of the details. You pick things up independently and like knowing that your work directly contributes to smoothly running

stores. Not afraid to pick up the phone and chase suppliers untill you get what you need!

Skills youll build:

• Location Rollouts - How a new coffee bar rollout is structured which parties are involved and how progress is tracked from a construction perspective. You will support rollouts by attending site meetings and keeping documentation up to date.

• Maintenance Coordination - How to hande maintenance reports engage the right contractors and track issues through to resolution using Asana.

• Supplier & Procurement - How te request and compare quotes from suppliers and how procurement decisions are made based on price lead time and quality.

• Project Management Tools - How to work with Slack Asana and Odoo tot manage task documenst and budgets across multiple active projects.

• Stakeholder Communication - How to communicate professionally with contractors landlords suppliers internal teams and collegues.

• Process Documentation - How to translate practical experience into written SOPs and constribute to the Wakuli Construction Handbook.

You:

• MBO level 4 or HBO student preferably Commercial Economics Facility

  Management Logistics & Supply Chain Business Administration or Hospitality Management

• Both English and Dutch are required
  English is the working language within the company
  Dutch is the working language towards the external parties / suppliers

• Comfortable with digital tools Outlook Slack and preferably Asana - and calling!

• Independent proactive and reliable

• Available for 3 to 4 fixed days per week
