ACDC Express is looking for a responsible customer-focused and reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of stock ensuring accurate documentation maintaining the company vehicle and providing excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely deliver and collect stock from customers and suppliers.
Ensure deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time.
Verify delivery documentation and product information before dispatch and collection.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company vehicle.
Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
Assist with inventory and store operations when required.
Adhere to all road traffic laws and company policies.
Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction.
Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
Valid Code B drivers licence.
13 years driving or delivery experience.
Experience in a retail or electrical environment will be advantageous.
Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Basic computer literacy.
Clear criminal and credit record.
Legally authorised to work in Namibia.
Required Skills:
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent. 13 years experience in a security role. Retail security experience will be advantageous. Basic computer literacy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Valid drivers licence and own transport will be advantageous. Clear criminal and credit record. Legally authorised to work in Namibia. Registered with Security Enterprises and regulations Board
