Summary
The Branch Manager Windhoek plays a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence sales performance and customer satisfaction of our automotive branch in the heart of Namibias capital.
Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing sales and service team to achieve branch KPIs and business targets.
- Develop and execute annual sales and business development strategies aligned with corporate goals and market trends.
- Oversee daily branch operations including inventory management vehicle delivery service scheduling and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor financial performance including revenue profit margins cost control and budget adherence ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by managing client relationships resolving complaints and implementing service improvements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews training sessions and coaching to enhance team capabilities and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and regional teams to promote brand initiatives campaigns and new vehicle launches.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities including fleet sales partnerships and dealer network expansion.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies ethical standards and legal requirements across all operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers suppliers and internal stakeholders demonstrating strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software (e.g. CRM ERP) to maintain accurate records generate reports and support data-driven decisions.
- Maintain a safe organized and efficient branch environment that reflects the brands values and service standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Proven track record in sales leadership business development and achieving or exceeding performance targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with demonstrated ability to inspire motivate and retain talent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers staff and senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes vehicle financing warranties and after-sales service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and experience with CRM or ERP systems.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities particularly under pressure and in high-stakes situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- High level of integrity professionalism and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
- Strategic planning and goal-setting capabilities with a focus on long-term growth and operational efficiency.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting record-keeping and compliance documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required by business needs.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
