Sr Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving storage picking packing and shipping operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials components and finished goods to support production schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor warehouse workflow and allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
- Implement and maintain warehouse procedures processes and best practices.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts audits and reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and FIFO/FEFO methodologies where applicable.
Team Leadership
- Lead coach develop and evaluate warehouse personnel including supervisors leads and warehouse associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Coordinate staffing requirements scheduling and workload balancing.
- Promote employee engagement teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications Education
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
- 58 years of warehouse logistics or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP Oracle JDE Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
- Experience supporting manufacturing production operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong inventory control and material flow management knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems and warehouse automation technologies.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
