Senior Project Manager Software & Controls SolutionsThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex controls and automation projects for GE Vernovas Software & Controls Solutions business. This role manages project delivery customer relationships contract execution and financial performance while ensuring projects are completed safely on time and within budget.
The position serves as the primary customer interface and leads cross-functional teams across engineering supply chain field services and commercial functions to deliver turbine control modernization and automation solutions.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from order receipt through commissioning and closeout.
- Manage project financials including revenue profitability cash collection forecasting and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project schedules risks communications quality and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive change orders growth opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements project management standards and company policies.
- Travel as required within the assigned region and internationally to support customer meetings project execution site activities and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering.
- Experience managing complex projects within the Power Generation Energy Oil & Gas or Industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of turbine controls Distributed Control Systems (DCS) cybersecurity excitation systems instrumentation and power generation technologies.
- Experience with EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) or turnkey project execution.
- Strong leadership communication customer management and contract management skills.
- Experience with SAP and project management methodologies.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
- Valid passport and visa.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently both domestically and internationally.
- PMP MBA and Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
