Senior Automation Engineer
Job Summary
- Develop and execute strategic market and product line business plans aligned with growth and operational efficiency goals.
- Identify opportunities to build internal technical capabilities including test stand design and development.
- Analyze market trends customer needs and internal capabilities to define strategic direction.
- Support the transition from external procurement to in-house solutions improving cost efficiency and flexibility.
- Create compelling business cases and presentations to support investment and capability development decisions.
- Evaluate make-versus-buy scenarios including partnerships acquisitions and internal development opportunities.
- Conduct assessments for joint ventures licensing agreements and collaborative engineering initiatives.
- Partner closely with engineering operations and production teams to align business strategy with plant needs.
- Support faster execution of product validation and testing through improved internal processes and tools.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders across functions and locations leveraging best practices from sister plants.
- You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You analyze complex high-quality and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems effectively. You anticipate future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies that create long-term value. You develop and deliver communications that clearly convey insights and influence decisions across technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies or lead capability-building initiatives.
