Job Description
Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design fabrication assembly tooling and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Lean Manufacturing implementation
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching designing modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
Root Cause Analysis of Process and Manufacturing Issues
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow space requirements and equipment layout
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
Experience Requirements
More than 5 years of experience in a similar position within the electronic assembly manufacturing industry.
Experience with PLC programming.
Lean manufacturing and six sigma knowledge (SPC)
PLC knowledge
Programming experience Ni LabView (desirable)
Teamwork skills customer service and effective communication.
Education Requirements
Professional degree in engineering or any related field.
