Job Summary
Position Objective:
IT Operations Analyst I is responsible for the daytoday administration tracking and financial management of Microsoft 365 licenses across a large complex enterprise. This role ensures accurate license assignments manages license utilization and overage or underage positions and partners with business and IT stakeholders to forecast demand related to employee onboarding role changes and terminations. The position plays a critical role in cost optimization compliance and operational readiness by maintaining clear visibility into licensing inventory and aligning licensing strategy to workforce planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related fields
- Advanced English proficiency
- 1 year of experience in network server and storage support; incident and service outage management; ticketing systems
Azure Management
Responsibilities:
- Manage pending tickets according to priority order or level of criticality
- Work remotely with different support teams
- Knowledge of information technologies for diagnosing systems servers networks and cybersecurity issues
- Assist senior operations engineers in designing and implementing new solutions
- Help maintain and update documentation
- Resolve virtualization issues
- Participate in planning sessions daily meetings and backlog review sessions
- Perform other assigned duties
- Comply with all company policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 licensing in an enterprise environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 licensing models SKUs and entitlement structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret licensing and financial data.
- Experience working with large user populations and complex organizational structures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting organizations with 10000 users.
- Familiarity with license management through Entra ID Intune or similar identity and device management platforms.
- Experience with financial forecasting budgeting or cost management related to SaaS licensing.
- Advanced skills in Excel reporting tools or data visualization platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API and Entra ID Powershell
