Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new independent publicly traded company which were calling SpinCo until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs this role will support SpinCo which will focus on critical digital infrastructure delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Environmental Health & Safety Manager located in Guadalajara North Campus.

Reporting to the EH&S Manager Environmental Health & Safety Manager role involves in charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage through subordinate supervisors the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices manufacturing sites and plants with control results in terms of costs methods and employees.
• Develop and administer budgets schedules and performance requirements.
• Conduct meetings involving environmental safety training and awareness programs.
• Oversee proper maintenance of buildings furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal state and local regulations.
• Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
• Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).
• Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors customers and/or functional peer group managers.
• Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules etc.
• Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities including costs of contract labor equipment and materials.
• Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

The experience were looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Fluent English
• 7 years of experience in similar position or related experience
• Experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations codes and guidelines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively develop and drive initiatives.
• Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers.
• Experience in metal mechanics industry
• Desirable experience in machinery safety
