We are currently searching for a Java Kubernetes Developer:
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
Design and implement efficient and scalable back-end solutions using Java Spring Boot and associated technologies like Anthos.
Define clean architectures (microservices event-driven hexagonal) and guarantee best practices (Sonar CheckMarx Fortify BlackDuck SOLID Clean Code).
Optimize performance and resolve bottlenecks in existing systems.
Integrate applications with databases external services and APIs.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and pair programming.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FrontEnd DevOps QA) to integrate solutions.
Implement unit and integration testing (JUnit Mockito) and ensure strong code coverage.
Apply modern security standards (OWASP JWT/OAuth2 authentication).
Work heavily with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing event/messaging streams with Kafka RabbitMQ or AWS SQS.
Proficiency in version control tools like Git (GitHub/GitLab).
Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
High-Performance Mindset: Resilience emotional intelligence and a focus on agile delivery.
Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering.
Desired
Certifications in Java (Oracle Certified Professional) or Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Anthos).
Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
Intermediate English: For daily operational collaboration and technical documentation.
Advanced Spanish.
Special Notes
The initial week of assignment may require 100% on-site presence.
Occasional 1-week on-site periods may be required by management for planning refining sessions and training.
Future state note: While currently hybrid our client may transition to a 100% on-site work model in the future. Candidates must be aware of and open to this potential shift.
