Position Objective
The Controls Intern will support the Software Test Department by contributing to the testing validation and continuous improvement of control systems for turbomachinery equipment. This role provides hands-on experience in industrial automation PLC programming HMI testing and electrical design while supporting engineering projects and delivering high-quality results in a dynamic technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the testing and validation of PLC-based control systems for turbomachinery applications.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of HMI (Human Machine Interface) software.
  • Assist in the development and review of electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Document test results and report findings to the engineering team.
  • Support engineers in control system commissioning verification and optimization activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality and system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronic Mechatronic or Electromechanical Engineering with approximately one year remaining before graduation.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (conversational).
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming.
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn industrial control systems and automation technologies.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
