Job Summary
Responsible for managing sub-categories and suppliers which entails conducting sourcing activities running Rfxs and managing suppliers for Indirect IT Categories (enterprise and business apps SaaS/IaaS network infrastructure hardware and IT professional services)
We offer:
- Support the development and implementation of the category strategy and align the supplier portfolio together with the Category Lead.
- Conduct market analyses and Rfxs in line with business requirements as identified with the stakeholder.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers in terms of delivery quality and price. Manage and develop the supply base to achieve our targets in delivery quality cost and innovation.
- Maintain and develop relationships with strategic suppliers including contract management (NDAs Long Term- / Supply Contracts etc).
- Monitor and manage influences on performance and achievements on the Procurements KPIs in line with local requirements and rules.
- Support in regional and global Indirect Procurement initiatives.
Tasks and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree ideally in IT Supply Chain Management or Business;
- Preferred 5 years of experience at a minimum in IT Procurement.
- Indirect category management experience - strong understanding of IT and software business and procurement concepts including software licensing cloud architecture IT labor SOWs and software-as-a-service
- Contract management skills; including a working understanding of contractual terms and conditions and risk mitigation
- Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft applications such as Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and management
- Must be willing to travel to suppliers and/or other Dematic locations as needed up to 10%.
- Demonstrated values of collaboration integrity courage and excellence is required.
