Application Engineer AE

Responsible for providing technical pre-sales and post-sales support for automation and industrial solutions in Mexico and Central America. 

The Applications Engineer serves as the primary technical advisor for customers and sales teams translating manufacturing challenges into practical automation solutions that deliver measurable business value. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to support customers throughout the complete project lifecycle from opportunity identification and solution design to implementation commissioning and optimization.

As a trusted technical consultant the Applications Engineer helps customers improve productivity quality flexibility safety and operational efficiency through the effective application of automation technologies including PLCs HMIs motion control systems robotics sensors industrial networks and Industry 4.0 software solutions.

Qualifications :

Strong expertise in factory automation robotics industrial controls PLCs SCADA sensors motion control and related systems.

Know-how to adapt standard solutions to complex or unique customer environments.

Ability to design configure and validate technical solutions that meet customer requirements.

Conducting technical presentations and demos.

Supporting sales teams with feasibility studies ROI analysis and proposal technical presentations and sales teams with feasibility studies ROI analysis and proposal development.

Knowledge of programming languages relevant to automation (e.g. ladder logic structured text C).MQQT Docker Phython C others .Ability to configure industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP Modbus PROFINET etc.).

Understanding of IoT/Industry 4.0 of data analytics or integration into MES/ERP systems.
