About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Technical Sales Coordinator to join a dynamic team within the industrial coatings and manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while managing the complete order-to-delivery process. You will work closely with customers production teams logistics and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding service delivery and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Order & Customer Coordination
  • Manage the complete order-to-delivery process for assigned customer accounts.

  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Liaise with production logistics and other internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.

  • Provide customers with regular updates on order status and delivery timelines.

Sample & Colour Coordination
  • Coordinate and manage customer sample requests.

  • Match colour samples and work with the technical team to develop requested colours.

  • Arrange delivery of approved samples to customer sites.

Sales & Business Development
  • Monitor upcoming projects and follow tender opportunities.

  • Identify project awardees and develop business opportunities.

  • Promote products through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.

  • Drive sales growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.

  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence to management.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.

  • Provide technical product advice and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of customer accounts before client visits.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal sales production and logistics teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Accounts & Administration
  • Support the collection of outstanding payments.

  • Communicate with customers regarding account status where required.

  • Raise concerns relating to product quality delivery delays or customer issues promptly.

  • Ensure all customer orders and documentation are processed accurately.

Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Previous experience in Sales Account Management Customer Service or Order Management.

  • Experience managing the order-to-delivery process.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Valid drivers licence.

  • HSE certification or equivalent health and safety experience is advantageous.

Knowledge
  • Industrial or manufacturing sector experience would be beneficial.

  • Understanding of customer service principles and sales processes.

  • Knowledge of products services and local market opportunities.

  • Familiarity with company processes and operational procedures.
