Tile Layer

Working as part of an existing team the selected candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:

• Prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling ensuring they are level clean and ready for installation;
• Measure cut and lay ceramic porcelain natural stone and other types of tiles;
• Install wall and floor tiles in accordance with project specifications and quality standards;
• Apply adhesives grout and sealants ensuring a high-quality finish;
• Carry out tile repairs replacements and maintenance works;
• Install skirting tiles stair nosings and decorative tile finishes where required;
• Ensure waterproofing and surface preparation are carried out correctly before tiling works;
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications :

The selected candidate will preferably:

• Have previous experience in a similar role within the Building Service Industry;
• Have a good command of the English language;
• Have a strong commitment to quality customer satisfaction and workplace safety;
• Be self-motivated reliable and capable of working independently as well as part of a team;
• Be a team player with honest and mature personality
