Your role & responsibilities

Were looking for a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to play a key role in protecting our players and platform identifying risk preventing fraud and supporting responsible gambling across our products. A key requirement is solid recent knowledge of either PIQ or SEON.

• Risk evaluation. Assess player data alerts and risk systems to identify indicators of fraud financial crime money laundering terrorist financing or unsustainable play ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• System configuration. Maintain and improve the configuration of key tools for payments and risk management.
• Verification. Verify players using documentation and verification tools to mitigate fraud and financial crime risks while meeting compliance standards.
• Payments. Maintain transaction processing and escalations in line with internal procedures and service level agreements.
• Player interaction. Communicate with players via phone and email when risk indicators arise applying responsible gambling tools conducting further checks or implementing self-exclusion where required.
• Cross-team collaboration. Work closely with Customer Experience Marketing and other teams to support responsible gambling and anti-money laundering initiatives.
• Source of funds and wealth. Request and assess documentation to validate player funds and wealth ensuring spending is legitimate and sustainable.
• Record keeping. Maintain clear and accurate records of reviews interactions decisions and outcomes.
• Tool development and implementation. Support and initiate the design testing and improvement of risk and responsible gambling tools.
• Information requests. Assist with GDPR-related requests and respond to external information requests where required.
• General support. Provide support across wider compliance activities as needed.

Key skills required

• Proficiency of payment processing tools such as PaymentsIQ (PIQ) and fraud tools such as SEON.
• Personable to be able to engage with players and build relationships quickly.
• Knowledge of responsible gambling approaches and good practices.
• Knowledge of money laundering typologies and risks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets to take reasoned actions.
• Excellent record-keeping skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the gambling industry or a related field is highly desirable.
• Perfect written and spoken English with the ability to understand British slang terms.
