HR Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Manager to join a growing iGaming company in Sliema. This is a permanent position and not a temporary maternity-cover role with the successful candidate joining the business ahead of the current HR Managers maternity leave to ensure a smooth handover.
The role would suit a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable working independently and managing the full employee lifecycle while also contributing to wider HR initiatives and supporting the business as it grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day HR function ensuring policies procedures employee records and HR processes are maintained effectively.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and company requirements.
- Manage recruitment onboarding and offboarding processes working with managers and external recruitment partners where required.
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters providing practical guidance and support.
- Handle employee relations matters including performance conduct attendance grievances disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate probation reviews goal-setting and ongoing performance management processes.
- Manage employee benefits leave administration and coordination with the external payroll provider.
- Support workforce planning and role development in collaboration with senior management.
- Identify and coordinate training and development initiatives.
- Take ownership of HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes employee experience and overall HR effectiveness.
- Prepare HR reports and provide relevant insights to senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and introduce greater structure as the company continues to grow.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on HR experience ideally covering a broad range of HR functions.
- Proven experience in an HR Manager Senior HR Generalist or HR Business Partner position.
- Experience managing the HR function within a small or mid-sized organisation is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and performance management.
- Practical experience with payroll coordination benefits leave administration and HR systems.
- Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes from start to finish.
- Relevant HR qualifications are important although practical experience and hands-on capability will be highly valued.
- iGaming industry experience would be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication organisation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to work independently and confidently in a less structured environment.
- Strong judgement attention to detail and the ability to balance daily HR responsibilities with longer-term projects.
