Accounts Executive

Our client a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Malta is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients build strong relationships and develop your expertise within a dynamic environment.

This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to 35K depending on experience.

Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Complete management accounts for your portfolio of clients

• Prepare and submit client VAT returns

• Ensure that your work is completed in line with statutory requirements

• Liaise with the tax administration team on tax computations tax returns and tax refunds

• Liaise with auditors tax and VAT departments and the MBR as required

• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain information for financial statements and statutory returns

• Attend client meetings

Education Skills & Experience

• Partly qualified Accountant holding a degree in Accountancy or currently at the final stages of completing ACCA

• 2 years of experience in client accounting

• Experience working with licensed entities and financial services companies is a plus

• Customer oriented with the ability to exceed client expectations

• Fluency in English at a C2/Native level both written and spoken

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Competent in MS Office tools and Sage Line 50

• Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines
