Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation commissioning maintenance and troubleshooting of complex HVAC and detection & measurement systems. This role ensures optimal performance and reliability of our clients infrastructure products through expert field service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation commissioning and validation of complex HVAC systems including chillers boilers air handling units and precision environmental controls.
  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on detection and measurement equipment such as gas detectors flow meters and analytical instruments ensuring peak operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate electrical mechanical and software-related faults using specialized diagnostic tools schematics and manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct precise calibration testing and adjustment of sensors and control systems to meet stringent industry standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025 F-Gas regulations where applicable).
  • Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients on equipment operation maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
  • Generate detailed service reports maintenance logs and fault analyses ensuring accurate record-keeping and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere strictly to all health safety and environmental regulations company policies and client site-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven field service experience with industrial HVAC systems (e.g. chillers VRF AHUs) or detection and measurement equipment (e.g. gas detectors flow meters analytical instrumentation).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills a methodical approach to fault finding and the ability to work independently in challenging environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of building strong client relationships and providing clear technical explanations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites often at short notice and possess a valid drivers license.
