Job Summary

Work Location: Miri / Bintulu

Contract Duration: 1 year

Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering and commissioning experience including at least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in the installation commissioning supervision or maintenance of gas turbines and rotating machinery.

Professional skill

  • In-depth knowledge of gas turbines compressors and other rotating equipment.
  • Proficient in interpreting turbine and compressor performance test results.
  • Skilled in vibration analysis dynamic balancing and mechanical seal and bearing applications.
  • Familiar with rotating equipment commissioning procedures and oil and gas industry practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibility

  • Provide engineering support for the installation testing commissioning and maintenance of rotating equipment including gas turbines and compressors.
  • Interpret and analyse turbine and compressor performance test results to ensure equipment operates in accordance with design specifications.
  • Perform vibration analysis dynamic balancing and assessments of mechanical seals and bearing applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and performance-related issues during commissioning and start-up.
  • Prepare job cards work packs and commissioning documentation for Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.
  • Perform fieldwork and provide technical support during HUC execution.
  • Ensure all rotating equipment activities comply with project specifications company standards and applicable safety requirements.
