Our client is an established steel manufacturer specializing in the production of billets and steel bars for the construction industry. Strategically located in Pasir Gudang Johor the company is recognized as one of the prominent steel manufacturing players in the strategic investments and acquisitions our client is building an integrated steel value chain across Southeast Asia while strengthening its presence in Malaysias steel industry. Its key subsidiaries include prefabricated steel reinforcement products rebar trading and the manufacturing and sale of wire mesh fencing products as well as the fabrication of reinforcement steel products for the construction and building industry.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the companys IT systems including computer hardware software network infrastructure servers and IT equipment to ensure smooth business and production operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for computer hardware software printers and IT equipment.
• Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops operating systems and business applications.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the companys network infrastructure including LAN Wi-Fi routers switches and Internet connectivity.
• Support server administration user accounts email systems and file sharing services.
• Troubleshoot hardware software network and system issues promptly.
• Perform system backups software updates and antivirus maintenance.
• Maintain IT inventory asset records and technical documentation.
• Support ERP MES attendance payroll and other business systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT maintenance equipment procurement and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 23 years of relevant IT support experience for IT Executive.
• If IT Assistant minimum 12 years or fresh graduate.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems Microsoft 365 networking and server administration.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: Up to RM5k
