Cardiovascular Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ECG echocardiography Doppler/vascular ultrasound and exercise stress testing.
• Prepare clients explain procedures and ensure their safety and comfort throughout testing.
• Operate calibrate troubleshoot and maintain cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
• Acquire accurate images measurements and tracings according to established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and recognise and escalate abnormal findings or adverse responses.
• Prepare technical reports and measurement summaries for physician review.
• Maintain accurate clinical records equipment logs and consumable inventory.
• Coordinate cardiovascular studies with clients doctors and clinic teams.
• Support cardiovascular health screening events roadshows and member activities.
• Assist with protocol development equipment evaluation and staff training when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cardiovascular Technology Medical Imaging Echocardiography or equivalent.
• Hands-on competency in ECG echocardiography and vascular Doppler studies.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in cardiology health screening or related clinical settings is preferred.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records is preferred.
• Willing to work on a 6-day rotational schedule including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail accurate documentation and good adherence to clinical protocols.
