We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager Corporate Secretarial to join our team and oversee corporate secretarial and governance matters across public listed and private limited companies.

This position offers broad exposure beyond routine company secretarial duties including listed-company governance Board and shareholder matters regulatory compliance corporate exercises and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Corporate Communications & Administration in managing corporate secretarial matters for public listed and private limited companies.
  • Supervise and guide secretarial staff in handling corporate secretarial work including preparing and reviewing resolutions statutory documents and regulatory submissions.
  • Ensure timely lodgement of documents and monitor compliance with statutory and regulatory deadlines.
  • Maintain and update statutory registers books and corporate records in accordance with the Companies Act 2016 Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate and attend Board of Directors Board Committee and shareholders meetings including preparing agendas meeting papers and minutes.
  • Liaise with SSM Bursa Malaysia professional advisers and other relevant regulatory bodies on corporate and governance matters.
  • Assist in developing implementing and maintaining the Groups corporate governance initiatives policies practices and procedures.
  • Prepare relevant sections of the Annual Report as well as other corporate reports and analysis when required.
  • Draft and coordinate Bursa announcements shareholder circulars and other corporate communications.
  • Prepare and/or review corporate and legal documents including Share Purchase Agreements (SPA) Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) tenancy agreements and other related documents.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure all required reports documents and submissions are completed accurately and on time.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc corporate secretarial and governance assignments as required by the business.

Requirements
  • CGI (ICSA) qualification is required. Associate Membership with the Chartered Governance Institute of Malaysia (CGI) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience preferably with exposure to public listed companies.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Good organizational communication and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive meticulous and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 SSM requirements Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Exposure to legal matters corporate exercises or due diligence will be an added advantage.



Required Skills:

CGI (ICSA) qualification is required. Associate Membership with the Chartered Governance Institute of Malaysia (CGI) will be an added advantage.
