We are a lean high-impact team where engineers work directly on cutting-edge AI products serving enterprise clients across Malaysia and the region.
We are seeking an experienced AS/400 COBOL 400 Junior Developer to support Channels & Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems within a Core Banking environment focusing on the development maintenance and support of AS400-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support and development for Channels & EAI applications on the AS400 platform.
- Develop maintain and enhance applications using RPG C and Java.
- Support payment systems and ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement improvements.
- Maintain documentation for systems processes and fixes.
- Manage and support ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.
- Work with DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelors degree in any related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with the AS400 platform and DB2 database.
- Proficiency in RPG C and/or Java programming languages.
- Experience working with the ALDON deployment tool.
- Exposure to Core Banking environments.
- Experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of system integration and middleware concepts.
- Understanding of banking/payment regulations and workflows.
- Experience in support including incident handling and issue resolution for AS400-based applications.
- Understanding of Channels & EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) systems.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
