The roles and responsibilities of this position encompassbuild-to-print; commodities with a
primary focus on supplier qualification supplier quality performance localization project
management First Article Inspection (FAI) and Material value proposition (MVP).
- Manage the supplier identification and qualification process activities
- Prepares engineering calculation design change proposal review customer drawing
and technical specs propose design recommendation - Analyze supplier quotes and bids
- Part qualification Tooling qualification
- Participate in driving the supplier quality performance management e.g. DPPM SQIP
etc. - Document and maintain the records of NPIs (FAI PPAP documentations)
- Any other activities related to department requirement
- Technical Tools: Strong understanding of engineering and quality tools including
GD&T DFM FMEA and GR&R. - Manufacturing Knowledge: Hands-on experience with sheet metal and machining
processes as well as a good understanding of secondary processes (e.g. plating
powder coating anodizing). - Design Software: Proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks or
Creo. - Industry Standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949/AS9100 quality management
systems. - Project & Problem Solving: Familiarity with project management processes alongside
strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in
writing. - Travel: Willingness and ability to travel overseas as required by the role.
- Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise dust chemicals operating machinery temperature extremes hazardous substances etc.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g. data entry using a computer mouse using a calculator etc.) are frequently required.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering -Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Manufacturing /Materials
engineering - 2-3 years of related experience in engineering manufacturing quality management and
SCM discipline preferred or equivalent of combination of experience
