Cake Decorator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Cake Decorator who can design decorate and finish cakes and pastries according to customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in cake decorating techniques attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes cupcakes and pastries using frosting fondant icing and other decorative materials.
• Create customized cake designs for birthdays weddings and special occasions.
• Prepare and apply buttercream ganache royal icing and other cake decorations.
• Follow customer designs specifications and special requests.
• Ensure the quality appearance and consistency of all decorated products.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of the work area and decorating tools.
• Store ingredients and finished products properly.
• Monitor decorating supplies and report shortages when necessary.
• Work closely with bakers and pastry chefs to meet production deadlines.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cake Decorator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of cake decorating techniques tools and materials.
• Creativity and a good eye for detail.
• Ability to create neat attractive and customized cake designs.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• A portfolio of previous cake designs is an advantage.

• 3D and themed cake design
• Wedding and celebration cake decoration
• Basic baking and pastry knowledge
