Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in UniData or related MultiValue technologies to support the maintenance enhancement and scalability of our Payroll/HR software products across SaaS mobile and on-premises environments.

Requisitos

Experience with UniData or related MultiValue environments.
Knowledge of BASIC or demonstrated programming skills that enable quick adoption of MultiValue BASIC.
Experience with SB (SystemBuilder) or other 4GL languages is a plus.
Proficiency or experience with JavaScript Java HTML5 and CSS.
Experience building and consuming RESTful web services/APIs.
Knowledge of Unit Testing TDD Scrum and Agile development practices.
Experience with GitHub Copilot Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
Background in Payroll HR or Accounting is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving communication interpersonal and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Engineering QA Product Management Customer Support and customers.

Responsibilities

Develop maintain debug and enhance applications using UniData BASIC.
Troubleshoot technical issues across all application tiers.
Collaborate with QA to ensure software quality functionality reliability and performance.
Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development improve code quality and better understand existing systems.
Participate actively in Agile development teams and R&D initiatives.
Improve the reliability scalability and maintainability of existing applications.
Manage priorities and deadlines proactively identifying when assistance is needed.
Build deep expertise in the product its technologies architecture and design patterns.
Demonstrate strong ownership teamwork integrity empathy enthusiasm and results orientation.
