SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this experienced Sales role requires the individual to effectively use their knowledge of the market demand and our companys success with the locker product space and multiple business verticals (healthcare laboratory commercial civic etc.) to attract prospects and build relationships which ultimately generate sales opportunities and closes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:
Generates qualified sales leads and pursuits for Shields laboratory pharmacy and commercial locker offerings
Sources new sales opportunities through outbound phone calls emails inbound leads follow-ups networking events and more
Works to set up qualified calls and meetings that meet product budget and timeline criteria
Manages a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify engage and develop relationships with potential buyers
Maintains and provides weekly activity and pipeline contribution reports
Prepares campaign and sequence cadences and other sales information for clients and prospective clients
Creates and updates a playbook of strategies for seeking high-impact projects
Works closely with the Product Development team and the Marketing team to create effective strategies and tactics for building pipeline and revenue
Partners with the Marketing and Product Development to refine new product offerings
Proactively seeks connects with and presents to C-Level and Executive VPs of potential clients
Participates in client meetings presentations conference calls and attends designated trade shows
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience selling into laboratory pharmacy health care or commercial settings
Knowledge of or interest in interior design furniture design and/or architecture
Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate present assert and speak with all levels of stakeholders involved
Strong drive to meet or exceed sales goals
Successfully and consistently applies strategic thinking skills and sound strategy which generate results
Proven research skills
Ability to creatively identify ways to find new business growth opportunities
Ability to follow direction and take constructive criticism.
Exceptional time management and organization skills
Ability to deliver top-notch presentations to prospects and to represent Shields capabilities and value proposition
Excellent collaboration with various teams
Ability to build and maintain professional rapport across a broad client audience
Can thrive comfortably in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Entrepreneurship or a similar degree orequivalent work experience required
3-7 years of experience in business development required
